So far so good with this product. It has definitely curbed my appetite, I desire food a lot less and I am a foodie... Took about 10 days to take affect, which is quick. I like it. As far as the affect on the mood. I have been more at peace, but also more short tempered. If that makes sense. I am not as sad or depressed, but people have tendency to get on my nerves more. As far as the sleep... havent noticed much of an improvement there. All and all for the appetite suppressing alone, I am pleased!

Wonderful PMS Relief, September 24, 2009

I break the capsules open and take less than half a capsule (less than 25 mg) at a time several times per day when my PMS is bad (as taking a whole 50 mg dose made me very nervous and shaky). At the lower dose, I get better relief from PMS symptoms (irritability, depression, and anxiety) than with anything else I've tried, including St John's Wort, Chaste Berry and other natural PMS relivers/mood boosters. One thing I've found is that drinking a strong cup of chamomile tea right after taking the 5 htp seems to help tremendously, as I feel calm and clear afterward, with no shakiness. This combination really does seem to help!!!

Got Great Sleep, Helped Mood, April 28, 2010

After taking this medication for only a short time, maybe a week, I was sleeping better and much more deeply. I believe the extra rest helped to elevate my mood, more than the medication itself. However, I have to get up at 5:30am and it was next to impossible to get up many mornings because I was in too deep of a sleep, so I had to stop taking it. If I could allow myself 10 hours of rest each night, I would have continued. But my schedule doesn't allow for that many hours every night.

The pill itself did not help me get to sleep, but did help me sleep better once I was already asleep.

I work out 5-6 times a week and needed that additional boost in burning the extra fat. This fat burner really did that. I took 2 tablets a day, 1 in the morning and another one around 2pm, my appetite really decreased from the first day I took it, and unlike other fat burners I tried you don't get any jitters nor any other side effects.

What a great product!!!!!!

I have used this stuff before and really like it. It works well to give me the energy I need for workouts, and helps burn fat - especially that obnoxious belly fat, but it doesn't make me feel speedy like some of the other products do. My only complaint is that I think it contributes to my headaches.

I love this stuff. Here's why:

1- After a day or two, It really doesn't make you that thirsty or jittery.
2- Even when I don't take it, I don't feel like some kinda zombie.
3- I can still sleep fine and even STAY asleep.
4- I've tried taking it with empty stomach or full stomach and seen the same results.
5- Everyone that knows me can vouch that I can eat. And this thing truly has made me eat waaaay less.

One thing I noticed was the horrible heartburn after taking it. I always had to take a big gulp of Gaviscon.

So I experimented and actually took the capsule out and poured the ingredient down to the back of my throat and Volia! No more heartburn. It does taste bad but it's far better than hours of naggin heartburn. I usually down it very fast with some juice.

But I am not sure why I was experiencing the heartburn as my spouse didn't. I guess I owe my dad's side for the heartburn.

Already feel the energy and far less appetite.
